Carol Holland

A graveside service for Martha Carol Holland Lee, 83, of Gainesville, is scheduled for 11:00 AM on July 30, 2019 at Era Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, July 29 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Carol was born February 26, 1936 in Haslet to Carroll Preston and Georgia Louise (McPhil) Beck.  She owned and operated several restaurants around the area for many years.  Carol passed away July 27, 2019 in Gainesville.

Survivors include: son Gary Holland of Gainesville; daughter Debbie Smith and husband Mike of Gainesville; daughter Charlotte Freeman and husband Jerry of Lake Worth; daughter Mar-Linda Wright of Forestburg; son Curtis Holland and wife Lola of Gainesville; numerous beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; sister Nelda McCloud of Weatherford; and sister Wilda Oldham of Fort Worth.

Carol was preceded in death by: parents Carroll and Georgia Beck; husband Sonny Holland; daughter Brenda Holland Raney; son David Holland; son Bobby Hughes; grandson Cody Lane; grandson O’Dell Wright; and sister Glenda Berg.

Serving as pallbearers are: Danny Wright, David Wright, Daniel Holland, Stacy Holland, Jaden Braudaway, and Daniel Barker.
