Carolyn Ann May

A funeral service for Carolyn Ann May, 72, of Gainesville, is scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday, April 17, 2023 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Duke Dowling officiating.  A visitation will be held on Sunday from 5:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. May passed away April 13, 2023 at her home.  She was born August 27, 1950 in Gainesville to Bud and Lillie Bruce.

Carolyn is survived by son Cameron Wilson; son Brian Wilson; son and daughter-in-law Jerry Don, Jr. and Cherie Wilson; son Bradley Wilson; sister and brother-in-law Gayle and David Pruitt; sister and brother-in-law Linda and Ronnie Butler; numerous grandkids, nieces and nephews.

Mrs. May was preceded in death by her parents; husband Jim May; sisters:  Billie Skinner, Jo McKinnon, and Kay Bruce; brothers:  Wayne King, Jamie Bruce, Howard Bruce, and Ronnie Bruce.

Pallbearers for the service are:  Bo Skinner, Ryan Skinner, Jake Skinner, Shawn Hull, Jamie Cantrell, and Bob May.

Honorary pallbearers are Sam Wilson and Cayden Balderree.
