Catherine Rae Hermes Biffle

A memorial funeral Mass for Catherine Biffle, 67, of Denton, is set for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Lindsay, TX with Fr. John Martin Officiating.   Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. prior to the funeral.

A private burial will happen later.

Cathy was born July 4, 1957, to James & Frankie Owen Hermes in Muenster, TX.

She was raised in Hood, TX and graduated from Era School.

Cathy passed away on November 29, 2024 after a short battle of kidney cancer.

She worked at Peterbilt Motors for over 30 years.

She loved her friends, family and her time at the lake and softball. She enjoyed going to the ranch and hanging out with her great nieces & nephews.  Her most proud accomplishment was her son, Aaron Michael.  She enjoyed her time with family, friends and taking annual sister trips for 23 years.

She is survived by dad, Jim Hermes, son: Aaron Biffle, her six sisters:  Terry Alexander (Bobby), Janet Drone (Bill), Karen Hanson (Greg), Sandy Schmitz (John), Gina Hermes & Gayle Caillier (Kenneth).  Nieces & Nephews:  Jessey Barnes (Edwina), Jordan Alexander (Karina), Stephanie Peterein (Scott), Joshua Polete (Mackenzie), Julie Hanson, Dillon Hanson, Tiffany Ward (Mitchell), Shelby O’Connor (Eddie), Suzanne Schmitz, Justin Caillier, Ashley Martinez (Caleb) & Megan Caillier.  She is also survived by several great nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Frankie Hermes.
