C.E. “Butch” Perkins, 76, of Callisburg died March 11, 2020 at Medical City Denton following a brief illness.
He was born on October 18, 1943 to Herman and Lillie Maude Perkins in Gainesville, Texas. He graduated from Callisburg High School in 1962 and retired from Weber Aircraft in 2010 after 43 years.
Butch is survived by son Michael Perkins of Benbrook, son Ed Perkins and wife Wendy, and their children, Madison King and husband Dalton, and Cody Perkins all from Callisburg.
He is also survived by stepdaughter Tina Swirczynski, husband Rodney of Saint Jo and her children Renee Hart, and husband Travis of Sunset, and Julie Kline, and husband Blake of Saint Jo as well as their children Porter and Parker Hart and Kelsey and Cooper Kline, stepson Bryan Hurd of Forestburg and his children Justin, Jamie, and Jessica Hurd.
Butch is preceded in death by his wife, Patsy, his parents, and brother Franklin “Sonny” Perkins.
Services for Butch will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday March 14, 2020 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 - 7:30 PM on Friday, March 13, 2020 at the funeral home.
