Carl Edward Faulkner, 87, of Burns City, passed away February 6, 2024 in Burns City.

C.E. was born September 22, 1936 in Gainesville.  He was raised in the Burns City area and attended Collinsville schools.  Mr. Faulker married Nita Hill on March 2, 1957 and he served in the U.S. Army.  He was a machinist for Weber aircraft and stayed busy working his farm and raising cattle.

Survived by: daughter Carla Tucker of Paragould, AR; grandchildren David Yarbrough (wife Brigette) of Sanger, and Amanda Goss of Ardmore, OK; and great-grandchildren Ariana Yarbrough, Lainey Goss, and Caden Yarbrough.

Predeceased by: parents Carl and Birdie (Powers) Faulkner; wife Nita Faulkner; and son-in-law Ronnie Tucker.

Services are scheduled for Friday, February 9, 2024.  The family will receive friends from noon to 1:00 p.m. at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, Gainesville.  A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at New Hope Cemetery, Mountain Springs.
