Cindy Ward

Cynthia “Cindy” Wynona Ward, 39, of Sivells Bend, passed away June 23, 2021, in Denton.

Cindy was born November 19, 1981 in Gainesville to Terry Thurman and Glenda Louise (Delashaw) Ward.  She attended Sivells Bend School and graduated from Callisburg High School where she was greatly involved in FFA.  Cindy received her Associates Degree from North Central Texas College in Farm & Ranch Management.  Her passion was outdoors and in the land, taking great care to maintain her ranch and farm.  She raised goats, fish, chickens, ducks, horses, and cattle.  In her free time, she enjoyed hunting, fishing, searching for fossils, and bowling.

Survivors include: husband, Chad Wagoner of Sivells Bend; son, Beau Wagoner; son, Chayton Holley; daughter, Keely Wagoner; daughter, Rachel Wagoner; son, Cody Wagoner; grandmother, Billie Louise Ward of Sivells Bend; mother, Glenda Evans of Callisburg; father, Terry Ward of Sivells Bend; sister, Crissy Ward of Callisburg; brother, Sam Ward and wife, Kaylinn of Callisburg; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mrs. Ward was preceded in death by: grandmother, Estelene Delashaw; grandfather, Thurman Hugan Ward; and grandfather, Merwin Delashaw.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at VFW Post 1922 in Gainesville.  The family will receive friends during a luncheon beginning at Noon, prior to the service.
