Connie Sue White

Connie Sue White, 76, of Gainesville passed away peacefully at her home on September 27, 2023.

She was born on April 19, 1947 to Lloyd “L.C.” and Gladys (Trail) Nichols in Gainesville, Texas.  She attended Gainesville Schools and worked at Claude Jones Daycare for many years and most recently Kid Care.

Connie is survived by son Michael Perkins of Benbrook, son Ed Perkins and wife Wendy, and their children, Madison King and husband Dalton, Cody Perkins and Addie Coutts, and great-grandchildren Weston and Cameron King all from Callisburg.

She is survived by brother Lloyd and Verba Lee Nichols of Ardmore, Oklahoma, brother Billy Joe “B.J.” and Ama Lou Nichols of Belton, Texas, sister Geneva and Bob Roberts of Denison, Texas, brother Danny Nichols of Gainesville, Texas, numerous nieces and nephews and mother-in-law Rosia Atherton, sister-in-laws Cheryl Klocek and Angel Anglin.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents, husband Darril, siblings Betty Woodall and George Nichols.

Services for Connie will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, October 2, 2023 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at the funeral home.
