Cory Chad Ralston

Cory Ralston, 51, of Gainesville, passed away on December 8, 2020 at Presbyterian Hospital in Denton after a year long fight against cancer.

Cory was born on March 18, 1969 in Gainesville to Johnny and Marianne (Chambers) Ralston.  He graduated from Gainesville High School and the University of North Texas with a B.S. degree in Medical Technology.  He was employed at Wise County Regional Hospital until his illness forced his retirement.  He loved landscaping, wood working, and brush hogging with his tractor.  He also enjoyed his trips to New York City and New Jersey to choose equipment for the hospital lab.

He is survived by his parents; sister and brother-in-law Nicole and Nathan Dempsey; nephews Harrison, Jeffrey & Reed Dempsey; uncle Pat Ralston of Phoenix, AZ; and several cousins.

Cory was preceded in death by his brother Jeff Ralston; grandparents Leslie and Burnie Chambers, and Maude and Earl Ralston.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, December 13, 2020 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with visitation to follow.
