Courtney Erin Gregg

Funeral services for Courtney Erin (Robinson) Gregg, 43, of Gainesville, are scheduled for 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 with Rev. Larry Kremling officiating.  Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, July 2 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Gregg passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and life-long friends, at 2:25 PM on June 29, 2018 at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.

Courtney was born August 10, 1974 in Gainesville to James Dalton and Connie Sue (Mozingo) Robinson.  She graduated Gainesville High School as a member of the Class of 1992.  She married Bill Gregg on November 21, 1998 in Marysville.  During Mrs. Gregg’s career as a law enforcement dispatcher, she served with departments in Cooke County, Love County, and University of North Texas.  Most recently, she enjoyed traveling with her camp trailer, visiting numerous state parks with her husband, Bill.  Mrs. Gregg will be remembered for giving personality and generous heart.

Survivors include: husband Bill Gregg of Gainesville; father Jamie Robinson and wife Janie of Gainesville; grandfather David Mozingo of Gainesville; sister Christie Ferguson of Sherman; brother Clayton Gouard of Raleigh, NC; mother-in-law Pamela Jean Armstrong of Gainesville; brother-in-law Michael Gregg and wife Courtney K. of Gainesville; nieces and nephews: Tanner Ferguson, Trae Cherry, Taylor Ferguson, Victoria Ferguson, Holden Gouard, Michael Gregg Jr., Lauryn Gregg, and Katey Gregg; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Gregg was preceded in death by: mother Connie Sue Welch; grandmothers: Norma Mozingo and Cleo Mitchell; and grandfather Haskel Robinson.

Serving as pallbearers are: Chris Wicker, Tanner Ferguson, Trae Cherry, Anthony Strauser, Michael Johnson, and Nathan Jolly.
