Cynthia "Cindy" Carrington Fugate

Cynthia “Cindy” Carrington Fugate, 61, of Saint Jo, passed away January 6, 2023 in Denton.

Cindy was born August 11, 1961 in Dallas and was raised in Cedar Hill.  She graduated Cedar Hill High School before earning her Associate degree from Cooke County College.  Cindy always had a special way with animals and was particularly fond of horses.  She will be remembered for her love of George Strait and her kind disposition.

Mrs. Fugate was preceded in death by her father Royal Carrington and brother Clay Carrington.

Survivors include: husband Donald Fugate of El Paso; daughter Alyssa Doyle of Georgetown; mother Pat Gray of Saint Jo; and sister Annette Carrington of Saint Jo.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
