Debra Jo Ware, 66, of Gainesville, TX and Burneyville, OK, passed away July 10, 2024 in Oklahoma.

Debra was born April 25, 1958 in Odessa, TX.  She was raised and graduated high school in Gainesville, TX.  Debra worked at River Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for over 20 years.  She enjoyed cooking, watching movies, and spending time with her family.  Debra was a member of Clement Street Missionary Baptist Church in Gainesville.  She will be fondly remembered for her happy demeaner, sweet smile, and big heart.

Mrs. Ware was predeceased by: husband Herbert Ware; and parents Cleveland and Ava Nell (Ray) Thetford.

Survivors include: significant other Darrell Pace of Burneyville, OK and his children and grandchildren; brother Ricky Allen Thetford (wife Tina) of San Angelo; brother Cleveland Doyle Thetford (wife Mary) of Longview; sister Cindy Haley (partner Richard Lee) of Gainesville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Recognized as honorary pallbearers are: Brad Thetford, Jason Thetford, Preston Thetford, David Thetford, Christopher Thetford, Ryan Haley, Ethan Haley, and William Haley.

A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, Gainesville.  The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
