Don Cloud

Funeral services for Donald Wayne Cloud, 81, of Muenster, are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Rosston United Methodist Church with Rev. Doyle Henderson and Rev. Larry Kruger officiating. Interment will follow at Rosston Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service. Arrangements are under the care of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mr. Cloud went to be with his Lord on Thursday, February 1, 2018. Don was born March 1, 1936 in Plainview, TX to Earl Clay Cloud and Ada Kizer Cloud.

He was joined in marriage to Ila Ferne Henderson Cloud in Fort Worth on February 20, 1955.

Don worked in the building trade and later owned Don Cloud Construction Company. Many of his children, grandchildren, sons-in-law, and nephews worked for him to learn the building trade.

Don was a master carpenter and excelled in building cabinets and furniture. His business began in the Fort Worth area and expanded to many areas in Texas. Don was active in his church and his community. He was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Burleson over 20 years before moving to Rosston in 1999, where he attended Rosston United Methodist Church.

Don is survived by his wife, Ila Ferne Henderson Cloud; daughter Donna Stallings and husband Rudy of Branson, MO; daughter Cheryl Cowen and husband David of Fort Worth; daughter Patricia Key and husband Danny of Woodland Park, CO; seven grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
