Donald "Ski" Sadlowski

Donald R. Sadlowski, 89, of Gainesville, passed away April 25, 2023 in Denton.

Donald was born September 15, 1933 in Detroit, MI. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force after high school and served in the Korean War. Mr. Sadlowski then had a career in civil service, working at Perrin Field and Carswell AFB before retiring. In retirement, he enjoyed watching sports, playing shuffleboard, visiting the VFW, conversing with friends, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include: daughter Pam Reidy (Terry) of Gainesville; son Tommy Sadlowski (Holly) of Flower Mound; grandchildren Aimee (Nathan), Robin, Brandt (Jordan), and McKenna; great-grandchildren Nolan, Noah, and Hazel; and friend Karen Barnhill of Gainesville.

Mr. Sadlowski was preceded in death by: parents Raymond and Lillian (Sutinis) Sadlowski; and son Deni Sadlowski.

The family will receive friends during visitation from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 1, 2023, at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. Mr. Sadlowski will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery following private services.
