Donna Kathyrine Raney

Donna was born February 6, 1959 to Sam and Shirley Raney in Odessa, Texas.  She resided most of her life in Rosston.

Donna was an avid Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys fan.  Laughing and enjoying both friends and family were some of her favorite past times.  She fought stage 4 small cell carcinoma.  When she saw an obstacle approaching, she grabbed her courage and fought on.  She continued to fight at times when others might have given in.

On Thursday, June 21 ^st 2018, trumpets could be heard as Heaven welcomed another angel though its gates.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.  The family would like to also thank Solaris Hospice for their nurturing support and comfort.

Donna is survived by her mother Shirley Raney; sisters Brenda Marshall and Linda Raney; nieces Bria Ballard and Kristen Kittrell; nephews Stacey Johnson and Jeremy Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her father Sam Raney and brother Steve Raney.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday June 24, 2018 at the Prairie Point Church of the Nazarene near her home in Rosston.
