Donna (Schniederjan) Mcginnis

Donna Kay (Schniederjan) McGinnis, 72, of Irving, passed away March 16, 2022 in Irving.

Donna was born April 11, 1949 in Gainesville, TX.  She grew up in Gainesville, Muenster and Dallas, and graduated from Sunset High School in Dallas.  She married Robert S. McGinnis, Jr. on October 18, 1991 in Irving.  Donna’s favorite pastime was their yearly trout fishing trip to Colorado.

Mrs. McGinnis was preceded in death by: parents, Henry and Marjorie (Pagel) Schniederjan; and sister-in-law, Donna Brooks.

Survivors include: husband, Bob McGinnis of Irving; daughter, Linda Ivahnenko and husband, Vic of Midlothian; step-son, Larry Don McGinnis of New Deal; brother, Johnny Schniederjan and wife, Selena of Henderson; brother-in-law, Foy Westfall and wife, Pennie of Williamsburg, KS; brother-in-law Ronnie J. Gunn of Central High, OK; and sister-in-law, Elaine Vowell and husband, Glen of Lawton, OK.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, March 25, 2022 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.  A Rosary prayer service will begin at 12:30 P.M.  Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M.  The funeral service will begin at 2:00 P.M.  Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
