Dorothy Marie (Geray) Grewing

A Mass of Christian Burial for Dorothy Marie Grewing, 80, of Lindsay, is scheduled for 10:00 AM on Monday, November 5, 2018 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Fr. Matthew Tatyrek officiating.  Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.  A Rosary, with visitation to follow, will be recited at 6:00 PM on Sunday, November 4 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mrs. Grewing passed away November 1, 2018 in Gainesville.

Dorothy was born July 24, 1938 in Lindsay to Al and Ann (Dulock) Geray.  She loved spending her time tending her garden.  Mrs. Grewing retired in 2012 following 45 years as an administrator for the dentistry office of Dixon & Dixon.

Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by: son Keith Grewing and his wife Lori of Durant, OK; son Jeff Grewing and his wife Laura of Highland Village, TX; grandchildren: Kyle Grewing, Kevin Grewing and wife RaShae, Chase Grewing, Kristen Grewing, Dillon Grewing, and Kaci Grewing; sister Joanie Bezner; niece Melinda Dieter and husband Jeff; nephew Dale Bezner and wife Becky; sisters-in-law: Joyce Zwinggi and Dolores Bierschenk; brothers-in-law: Henry Grewing Jr. and his wife Doris and Leonard Grewing and his wife Dorothy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Grewing was preceded in death by: beloved husband of 59 years, Edward Grewing; son Curtis Grewing; and her parents.

Serving as pallbearers are: Kyle Grewing, Kevin Grewing, Dillon Grewing, Robbie Iacobucci, and Mitch Dieter.
