Duane Lee Stevens

Duane Lee Stevens, 65, of Gainesville, passed away June 13, 2021 in Gainesville.

Mr. Stevens was born November 15, 1955 in San Diego, CA to Theodore Wayne and Shirley Marie (Lovell) Stevens.  He served honorably in the U.S. Navy, stationed on USS Wichita.  Mr. Stevens enjoyed watching old war and James Bond movies and was “hell on wheels”, often seen riding his bicycle.  Above all else, he loved his family.

Mr. Stevens was preceded in death by: his parents; one brother; and three nephews.

Survivors include: four sisters; one brother; many aunts and uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

A memorial graveside service is scheduled for 2:30 P.M. on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
