A visitation for Johnny Dwayne Crisp, 47, of Gainesville, is scheduled for 6:00 PM on Monday, February 22, 2021 in the Fellowship Hall of First United Methodist Church of Gainesville. Arrangements are under the care of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
Mr. Crisp passed away February 16, 2021 in Denton.
Dwayne was born October 10, 1973 in Gainesville. He graduated from Gainesville High School and attended Cooke County College. Mr. Crisp worked mostly in the oil field and construction industries. He was a passionate fan of all sports and enjoyed fishing. Mr. Crisp supported his children and the community by coaching and officiating various youth sports for many years. He was truly one-of-a-kind and will be missed by those fortunate enough to have known him.
Survivors include: wife, Kelli Kuykendall of Gainesville; son, Zachery E. Crisp of Bells; daughter, Ashleigh Elizabeth Williams of Anna; son, Hunter Dwayne Crisp of Gainesville; daughter, Kamden Kayann Crisp of Gainesville; son, Kanin Ryner Crisp of Gainesville; granddaughter, Millie Williams; parents, Johnny and Faye Crisp; brother, Randy Sieger (Ann Maria) of California; sister, Tammy Bullard (Darrell) of Gainesville; sister, Sarah Lamp of Gilmer; sister, Lafawn Strauser (Anthony) of Sanger; brother, Cody Bridwell of Thackerville; brother, Lance Bridwell (Janna) of Sanger; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many beloved friends.
Mr. Crisp was preceded in death by: mother, Shirley Ann Dicus; grandparents, Billy and Gaylon McElreath; grandparents, J.P. and Dolly Crisp; and sister, Taunyda Crisp.
