Dwight Doyle

Graveside services, with military honors, for Dwight Doyle, 75, of Gainesville, are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Friday, March 30, 2018 with Pastors Charles and Carla Waldroup officiating.  Mr. Doyle will lie in repose on Thursday, March 29 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mr. Doyle passed away March 25, 2018 in Gainesville.

Dwight was born August 3, 1942 in Chelsea, MA to Joseph Bernard and Margaret (Kelley) Doyle, and was raised in Jamaica Plains, MA.  Following school, he enlisted in the Marine Corps where he served four years.  Mr. Doyle married Sammie L. Robinson on August 18, 1974 in Broomfield, CO.  He continued his education and Christian Journey by studying at Christ for the Nations in Dallas.  Mr. Doyle was an electrician by trade his entire life, but most recently spent his time volunteering with various relief groups and at Living Word Ministries.  He also enjoyed riding horses and spending time with his family.

Survivors include: wife of more than 43 years, Sammie Doyle of Gainesville; daughter Vickie Rike of Mesa, CO; son Brian Rike of Sherman; daughter Kelley Talbert and husband Bruce of Mesa, AZ; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother Dr. Brian Doyle of Washington D.C.; brother Conal Doyle of Cambridge, MA; and brother Niall Doyle of Haverhill, MA.

Mr. Doyle was preceded in death by his parents; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Leroy and Nancy Robinson.
