Eunice Marie Knauf Wimmer

Mass of Christian Burial for Eunice Marie Knauf Wimmer will be held Wednesday March 16 ^th at 10:00 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Lindsay, with a Rosary and visitation on Tuesday March 15 ^th at 6:00 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Eunice Marie Knauf Wimmer passed from this earth to be with our Lord on March 10, 2022, just shy of her 80 ^th birthday.  She was born March 31, 1942 to Joe and Marie (Pels) Knauf in Muenster, Tx.  She attended Sacred Heart school where she met the love of her life, Tim Wimmer.  They married on 5/11/1963 and would later welcome sons Brad Wimmer, Jeff Wimmer and daughter Jolanda Wimmer Fleitman.

Eunice worked at Schad and Pulte, George J Carroll & Son, and for 36 years at Gainesville National Bank which became Prosperity Bank.  She loved helping her customers and would often go the extra mile for  them.   Eunice and Tim lived in Lindsay for 50 years and were a valuable part of the community.   Eunice loved to laugh and be around people.  She was always ready to go anywhere, especially shopping.

Eunice is survived by her son Brad Wimmer and wife Page of Krum; daughter Jolanda Wimmer Fleitman and husband Mark of Denton.  She is also survived by her pride and joy grandchildren Tessa Wimmer, Jena Wimmer Bates and husband Dillon, Abby Wimmer, Trent Wimmer, Luke Fleitman and Grace Fleitman.

Eunice is preceded in death by her husband Tim Wimmer, her son Jeff Wimmer and her sister Annette Walterscheid.
