Flora Jeannette Munn

Funeral services for Flora Jeannette Munn, 74, of Gainesville, are set for 2:00 PM Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Gainesville with Dr. Jeff Langley and Dr. Bennie Slack officiating.  Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.  A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mrs. Munn passed away March 26, 2018 in Denison.  She was born February 6, 1944 in Brownwood to Robert Jackson and Roxie Bowles Elkins.  She was an active member of the First Baptist Church and a member of the Belle Moon and Gainesville Chapters of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Flora is survived by her husband Joe Munn of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and James Wood of Sanger; grandchildren Tiffany, Christopher, Amber, Alex, and Faith; several great-grandchildren; brothers Robert V. Elkins of Tuscola and Jim Elkins of Brownwood.  She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mrs. Munn was preceded in death by her parents.
