Gerald Glenn Strother, 85, of Moss Lake, TX, passed away August 3, 2024 at his residence.

Gerald was born May 10, 1939 in Sulphur Rock, AR.  He was raised in the hills of Arkansas and he served in the Army National Guard for six years.  Mr. Strother went to work as an engineer with Collins Radio and retired from Alcatel.  He enjoyed traveling in his free time.

Mr. Strother was preceded in death by: parents Cecil and Violet (Ball) Strother; daughter Patricia Strother; twin brother Harold Strother; and brother James Strother.

Survivors include: wife of 42 years, Jahron (Scott) Strother of Moss Lake; daughter Tina Gibson (Rick) of Gainesville, TX; son Scott Bullard (Amy) of Huntsville, TX; daughter Amanda Rutledge (Gerald) of Howe, TX; son Steven Strother of Little Elm; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren (with one on the way); sister-in-law Francene Strother of Wichita, KS; sister-in-law Irene Strother of Springdale, AR; and niece Susan Woodbridge (Tom) of Willington, KS.
