Geraldine Bryant

Loretta Geraldine Bryant, 91, of Gainesville, passed away November 21, 2022 in Gainesville.

Geraldine was born October 27, 1931 in Whitesboro.  She attended schools at Liberty Hill, Callisburg, and Gainesville.  Geraldine worked at Linda Jo Shoe Company before starting at the Cooke County Tax Appraisal District, from where she retired.  She enjoyed quilting and took great pride in her yard and garden.  Geraldine loved her church family at Callisburg Church of Christ.

Geraldine was preceded in death by: parents Jeremire and Lora (Sawyer) Stailey; husband Monroe Wallace; husband Wayne West; husband Fred Bryant; daughter Brenda Mask; and brothers: John, Jerry Mac, and Ray Stailey.

Survivors include: son Larry Wallace and wife Debby of Callisburg; grandchildren: Cindy Self Easterling and her husband Joel, Dusty Wallace and his wife Ivajean, Mike Self; Keri Wallace Alanis and her husband Ruben; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Wanda Stailey of Callisburg; and sister-in-law Pat Stailey of Midland.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2022, prior to the funeral service scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m., at Callisburg Church of Christ.  Interment will follow at Callisburg Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Callisburg Cemetery Association.
