Harriet Marie Lewis

Harriet was born May 12th 1923 in Eagle Lake Township, Otter Tail County, Minnesota and slipped into her heavenly dwelling on March the 8th 2024, she was 100 years old. Harriet is the daughter of the late Edwin Berglund, and Elina Okeson of Minnesota. After graduating from high school, Harriet joined the US Army as a surgical specialist and there met her future husband, Elmer Lewis. After the military, Harriet and her new husband settled in Grass Valley and raised 4 children. She worked as a sales representative for JCPenney until retirement. She is survived by 2 children; Diane Armstrong of Nevada and Daniel Lewis of Lake Kiowa, Texas. She has 9 grandchildren; Tanya, Tiffany, Andrew, Gavin, (Deceased) Melissa, Sara, Travis, Megan and Daniel. She also has 8 great- grandchildren. She is pre deceased by her husband Elmer, daughter Donna and son Donald. A Celebration of Life is planned for noon, the 15th of March at New Life Bible Church in Gainesville and burial following at 3pm at Fairview cemetery in Gainesville.
