Graveside services with military honors for Herschell Eugene Hinson, 96, of Collinsville, are set for 1:00 PM Thursday, July 22, 2021 at the Indian Creek Cemetery in Collinsville. No visitation is planned.

Herschell was born in Mineral Wells on May 26, 1925 in Mineral Wells to Emmett Earl Hinson and Ethyle Violet (Rush) Hinson. He passed away on July 18, 2021 at his residence.

Herschell is survived by his wife Patricia of Collinsville; and numerous extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Emmett Earl Hinson, Jr.; and sister Beth Hinson Harper.
