Hubert Lester Perry

Funeral services for Hubert Lester Perry, 93, of Gainesville, are set for 9:00 AM Friday, March 19, 2021 at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Jeff Langley and Bro. Bob Matthews officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Mr. Perry passed away March 14, 2021 at his home.  He was born August 6, 1927 in Gainesville to Hugh Gearhart and Flora Ena (Lester) Perry.  He served in the US Army, and was stationed in Germany during the Korean War.  He was a hardworking man, farming and ranching his entire life.  He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

Hubert is survived by his children and their spouses:  Linda and David Milam, Carolyn and Steve Snuggs, Jerry and Ronda Perry; sister and brother-in-law Lou and Waymon Bryant; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Donna and Jack Hill; brother-in-law Rudy Watson; nieces and nephews Sue and Steve Hoelker, Mary Perry and Tim and Lynn McLaughlin.  He is also survived by his grandchildren (and great-grandchildren):  Heath and Holly Odell (Hunter and Hade), Jerad and Martha Odell (Faith and Ethan), Jason Snuggs (Addi) AnnaBeth Brust (Emma Jo Baker and Hayes Johnson), Charla and Pat Wood (Cayla Lockridge and her father John Lockridge), Jamie and Stan Bustos (Bella Grahl and Keith Bishop), Chelsea Krebs (Camden Krebs), Jaden and John Michael Pass (Ridge), and Macy Perry..

Mr. Perry was preceded in death by his parents, by his wife Frances Watson Perry, and by his brother Johnny W. Perry.

Grandchildren will be pallbearers and great-grandchildren will be honorary pallbearers.
