Janet K. Berryhill

Janet Kay Berryhill, 84, longtime Gainesville resident, most recently of Lake Dallas, passed away December 10, 2021, in Lake Dallas.

Janet was born April 23, 1937 in Midland, MI.  She lived a very spiritual life and loved reading her Bible.  She also enjoyed coloring and had an extensive doll collection.  Mrs. Berryhill loved her family deeply and treasured her time spent with grandchildren.  She was a devoted member of Grace Friendship Baptist Church.

Mrs. Berryhill was preceded in death by: parents, Donald and Carroll (Hancock) Mudd; husband, Clyde Arthur Berryhill; three sisters; one brother; and longtime friend, Gilbert Mozingo.

Survivors include: son, James Cecil Berryhill and wife, Colleen of Michigan; son, William Lee Berryhill and wife, Angela Jean of Lake Dallas; brother-in-law, Jim Harner of Oil City, MI; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and beloved friends, including Laura Arnold who helped greatly with Mrs. Berryhills’ care.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to Noon on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.  A graveside service will follow, beginning at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday at Fairview Cemetery.
