Janilyn Darlene Ramsey, 65, of Gainesville, passed away May 29, 2024 in Carrollton.  Janilyn was born June 5, 1958 in Gainesville to Jan and Marilyn Ramsey.  A funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Jody Morgan officiating.  Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

She is survived by daughter Jayanna Castruita and husband Allen Schilling in Marietta, OK, and son Jody Morgan and wife Kayra Morgan in Gainesville, TX. She is also survived by sister Gala Knoll and husband Steven Knoll in Saint Jo, TX, brother Curtis Ramsey and wife Daphnia Ramsey in Denison, TX, brother Bobby Davis and wife Debra Davis in Celina, TX, brother Kenny Davis and wife Becky Davis in Gainesville, TX, and brother Micheal Davis (Porky) in New Mexico, and sister Susan Ramsey (Margarette) in Gainesville, TX.

Survivors also include: grandchildren Kenyon Morgan, Kaylee Morgan, Darius Williams-Morgan, Jayce Morgan, Joshua (Loshy) Castruita, and Jesse Castruita; great-grandchildren Zander Morgan, Devon Williams, Hendrix Morgan, and Vance Morgan; and nieces and nephews Devynn, Zachary, and Aisha Pettit, Bryan Davis, Tori, Dustin and Bradley Davis.

Janilyn was preceded in death by father Jan Ramsey and mother Marilyn Morrison.

Serving as pallbearers are: Allen Schilling, Devynn Pettit, Ken Carden, Danny Carden, Grady Carr, and Jesse Ramsey.
