Jean Gilbreath

A graveside service for Anna Jean Gilbreath, 81, of Gainesville, is scheduled for 10:00 AM on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Larry Kremling officiating.  Arrangements are under the care of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gilbreath passed away October 9, 2018 in Gainesville.

Jean was born January 25, 1937 in Thackerville, OK to William H. “Pap” and Carrie (Bratcher) Foster.  She married George Gilbreath April 4, 1951 in Gainesville.  Mrs. Gilbreath worked at Bomber Bait for over 30 years.  She enjoyed crocheting, riding motorcycles, and going on scenic drives with her husband.

Survivors include: granddaughter Jori Gilbreath and husband Greg of Lake Kiowa; grandson Jordan Gilbreath and wife Megan of Argyle; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Clovis “Shorty” and Julia Gilbreath of Gainesville; sister-in-law Margaret Gilbreath of Gainesville; and great-grandchildren: Greer, Harper, and Emma.

Mrs. Gilbreath was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; daughter Sheila Gail Gilbreath; son George William Gilbreath; and two sisters, Gwen and Amelia.
