Jeanette was born September 9, 1942 in St. Martinville, LA.  She married Frank Hebert on August 4, 1962 in Beaumont, TX.  Although she had a successful career working for Land Title Companies most of her life, it was her time spent with her daughter, Regina, sewing Barbie fashions, that led them to many interesting adventures, such as appearing in local newspapers in Beaumont and appearing on Positively Southeast Texas, showing of their Barbie designs.  It was a hobby that brought much joy to she and her daughter both.  She moved to Lindsay, TX over twelve years ago to be closer to family.

Mrs. Hebert was preceded in death by: husband, Frank Hebert; parents, Lloyd & Helena Barras; and brother, Edward Barras.

Survivors include: daughter, Regina Hebert of Lindsay; sister, Neoma Barras Bellew and husband, Rocky Dale; niece, Beth Kelley and husband, Mike of Lindsay; niece, Christie Johnson and husband, Brett; nephew, Ken Barras and wife, Marie; and nephew, Joseph Connors.

A Rosary service, followed by a time of visitation, will begin at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, Gainesville, TX.  A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, April 19, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Lindsay, TX, with Rev. John Martin and Deacon Ralph Lira officiating.  Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Lindsay.
