Jeff Ford

On March 25th, 2022, Jeffrey Thomas Ford passed away in Tool, TX. He was 39 years old.

Jeff is survived by his parents William and Madie Milder of Gainesville, TX; Jay Keith Ford and wife, Lydia of Joshua, TX; His life partner, Chris Keating of Tool, TX; and siblings Kimberly Maxwell of Gainesville, TX, and Justin Ford of Weatherford, TX.

Jeffrey Ford was born on August 18th, 1982 in Fort Worth, TX. Jeff was led to Christ by his late Granny Ford, and born again in 1988, when he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

Jeff was a bright light extinguished only by death. Even though he is no longer shining here in this dark world, let us never forget him and the way he could lift the spirits of the people he loved and cherished. Jeff was an amazing and artistic person. He had an eye for beauty and loved to put his decorative spin on the world around him. He enjoyed being an interior decorator, and he loved fashion and music. He produced beautifully decorated homes, flower arrangements, and was always dressed to impress. He was quirky, funny, loyal, empathetic, genuine, and had such a loving heart. Those are just a few words to describe his life. But, most of all he was real and he was honest.

And by being honest to his heart, Jeff found his life partner, Chris. They had 12 loving years together. Blessing each other’s lives with love, laughter, and many happy memories together. I know their love will continue on through this trying time.

Jeff also loved God with a passion. When he walked into a church, he was humbled and moved by Him. He was one of a few souls not perfect to some, but he strove and fought long and hard to answer God’s calling. Jeff’s passing has taught us to love and accept everyone with all of our hearts, and to have no judgments. All Jeff ever wanted was love, total unconditional love. And, He now finally has found it with God.

A Celebration of Life for Jeffrey Ford is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on April 2, 2022 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, located at 602 S. Lindsay St., Gainesville, TX 76240. It will be immediately followed by an interment ceremony at Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. on Friday, April 1, at the funeral home.
