Jeffrey Guy Wimmer of Lindsay,Tx went to be with our Lord in heaven on August 23, 2018. He was born October 4, 1966 to Tim and Eunice Knauf Wimmer in Gainesville, TX. He was a graduate of Lindsay High School and University of North Texas. He worked at UPS for 32 years and planned on retiring next month. He was known as a jokester who loved to fish, loved music and playing harmonica.
He is survived by his daughter Tessa Wimmer and son Trent Wimmer both of Denton; his parents Tim and Eunice Wimmer of Lindsay; brother Brad Wimmer and wife Page of Krum; sister Jolanda Fleitman and husband Mark of Denton; nieces Jena and Abby Wimmer of Krum; nephew Luke Fleitman and niece Grace Fleitman of Denton; former spouse Tamara Wimmer of Denton; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by Grandparents Lawrence and Irene Wimmer and Joe and Marie Knauf.
A Rosary and visitation will be held on Friday, August 31 at 6:00 PM at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home in Gainesville,TX. A memorial mass
Honorary pallbearers are Kenny Noggler, Kurt Hermes, Glenn Block, John Sprouse, Steve Corcoran and Jim Ott.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Anchor Group Alcoholics Anonymous of Gainesville,TX.
