Jennifer Susan Zimmerer passed away July 18, 2023.
Jennifer was born January 22, 1968 to James A. & Dolores (Voth) Zimmerer.
Jennifer enjoyed her childhood years attending Lindsay Elementary School and St. John Catholic School in N. Richland Hills. Upon completion of her elementary school years, she chose Nolan High School where she excelled in academics and was in the National Honor Society. She was in the Nolan High Drill team and her senior year was voted varsity cheerleader. After completion of high school, she enrolled in Tarrant County Jr. College where she also tutored students in mathematics. After completing her Associates degree, she enrolled in UNT in Denton and worked on her Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and later received her MBA from the University of Arlington. Upon completion she worked for a consulting firm and traveled all over the U.S. which gave her the opportunity to see and explore many states after work hours & on weekends. After years of travel and tiring of the rigors of travel she decided to join the family business and work part-time on her counseling degree from Texas Wesleyan University. While earning her degree she had the opportunity to study abroad in London, New Zealand and twice in Australia. The final years of work were with Texas Dept. of Transportation.
Survivors are parents James A. & Dolores Zimmerer, brother, Jeffery (Pam) Zimmerer, nieces; Wendy, Vic, Lexi and nephew Tim, Grandmother Dorothy (Bezner) Zimmerer, numerous aunts, uncles & cousins.
Preceded in death were grandfathers, Bruno Zimmerer, John Voth and grandmother, Christine (Flusche) Voth. Also, Uncles, Frank A. Sandmann, Robert David, Jr., Danny Jones, cousins Brad Felderhoff, Sammy Zimmerer & Chase David, & Robbie Sims.
A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on July 24, 2023 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Lindsay. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Lindsay. A Rosary Prayer Service, followed by visitation, is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, Gainesville. Concelebrants for the Mass are Father John Martin and Father George. Serving as pallbearers are Tim Zimmerer, Rob Sandmann, Russell David, Billy Bob Zimmerer, Eric McGee, Kenny Jones, and Russell Zimmerer.
