Joan Geray Bezner

A funeral mass for Joan Geray Bezner, 89, of Gainesville, is set for 10:00 AM Saturday, January 9, 2021 at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A rosary will be held at 6:00 PM Friday, January 8, 2021 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will follow the rosary.
Joan was born on March 16, 1931 in Gainesville to Al Geray and Ann (Dulock) Geray. She passed away on January 3, 2021 in Gainesville.
She is survived by her son Dale Bezner and his wife Rebecca of Lindsay; daughter Melinda Dieter and her husband Jeff of Lindsay; grandchildren Blake Bezner, Meredith Bezner, Dustin Dieter and wife Christin, Chad Dieter and wife Alli, Mitch Dieter and fiance' Jaylyn Anderle, and Matt Dieter and wife Abby; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband Wilfred on November 20, 1986; her parents; great-granddaughter Callie Dieter; and sister Dorothy Grewing.
