John Barnfield

John Edward Barnfield, 81, passed away at his home in Lake Kiowa, TX January 22, 2021.

Born in Macomb, IL to John Frederick Barnfield and Juanita A. (nee’ Frakes) Johnson, John married Alice Irene Carlson in Galesburg, IL and moved to Fort Wayne, IN in 1960.

John began his career as a plant foreman at Ballastran Corporation, later Magnavox, North American Philips, and Hughes Aircraft.  He retired as a Senior Development Engineer with Raytheon Company in 2004 and moved to Lake Kiowa, TX.

John is survived by his wife of 60 years, Alice; and two adult children: Andrea Kay (Barnfield) Brown, and Brian Allan Barnfield.

Memorial services will be scheduled for a later date.
