David Garner

Funeral services for David Garner, 50, of Woodbine, are scheduled for 10:00 AM on Monday, September 21, 2020 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Lyndel Lee officiating.  Interment will follow at Nelson Grove Cemetery.  The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 AM prior to the service.

Mr. Garner passed away September 14, 2020 in Woodbine.

David was born December 28, 1969 in Gainesville to Don and Lela Garner.  He grew up in Lewisville and married Jennifer Parker in 1993.  The family moved to Gainesville in 1998 and David began his 22-year career with the City of Gainesville.  David enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, fishing, supporting his sports teams, and caring for his chickens.

Survivors include: wife Jennifer Garner of Woodbine; daughter Allison McCage, her husband Chase, and their children Kolten and Bransen; son Justin Garner of Woodbine; parents Don and Lela Garner of Lewisville; sister Kimberly Garner of Corinth; sister Lori Garner of Sherman; brother Michael Garner and wife Starla of Corinth; mother-in-law Loveta Russell and husband Stan of Woobine; father-in-law Leon Parker and wife Patsy of Gainesville; brother-in-law Jeff Parker and wife Amy of Woodbine; sister-in-law Tammy Eilers and husband Joe of Woodbine; sister-in-law Misty Noller and husband Nathan of Woodbine; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mr. Garner was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tony and Martha Hacker.
