John Evan Salsman

John Evan Salsman, 37, of Burns City, passed away October 9, 2022 in Galveston, TX.

John Evan was born July 11, 1985 in Denton, TX.  He had a servant’s heart and took pride in helping others through his work and during his free time.  Mr. Salsman was a skilled cook and a loving son and father.  He was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church and former member of the Indian Creek Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include: his son and daughter; father and stepmother; mother and stepfather; maternal grandparents; four brothers; two sisters; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Mr. Salsman was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Indian Creek Volunteer Fire Department or a local Volunteer Fire Department of one’s choosing.
