Joseph Edward Pulte

A memorial service for Joseph Edward Pulte, 73, of Gainesville, is scheduled for 10:30 AM Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Kelley officiating.  A visitation will follow.  Mr. Pulte passed away August 16, 2023 in Dallas, TX.

Joe was born July 12, 1950 in Gainesville to Charles Edward Pulte and Genevieve Gallagher Pulte.  He graduated from Gainesville High School and married Rhonda Pulte on November 25, 1972 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Gainesville.  Joe and Rhonda spent most of their years raising their children in Gainesville.  He worked for Peterbilt in Denton for many years.  He enjoyed spending time at the lake camping and boating with his family, cheering for his grandchildren, and loved traveling with Rhonda in their camper.  Their favorite destination was Branson, MO.  Most of all, he treasured his grandchildren and the time he spent with them and his family.  He was always fun to be around.  He was a very kind and patient man who would help anybody in need.  He was loved very much and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include: son Chris Pulte and wife Melissa of Denton; son Riley Pulte of Gainesville; grandchildren: Peyton, Morgan, Parker, and Joseph Hunter Pulte; sister-in-law Claudia Moore and husband Bill of Corinth; brother-in-law Delwyn “Dee” Dishman and wife Maria of Waxahachie; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mr. Pulte was preceded in death by his beloved wife Rhonda, his parents; his brother Jimmy Pulte, and sisters Jeannie Gibbons and Sue Reuben, brothers-in-law Clark Dishman and Gary Dishman.
