Virginia June Coy Weaver
Virginia June Coy Weaver, 89, passed away peacefully at her home October 21, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Arrangements are being handled by Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. There is no visitation or funeral scheduled per June’s wishes. A private burial will be held at the Weaver Cemetery in Sivells Bend, Texas.
History
June was born October 2, 1932 in Haskell, Oklahoma to parents Everett and Nora Lawson Coy. She was married to the love of her life, Jimmy Weaver, on July 15, 1950 in Sivells Bend, Texas. June was a devout Christian, devoted to her faith and her family. Nothing brought a bigger smile to her face than being surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family wants to express their deepest thanks and gratitude to Martha and Rebecca of Home Hospice of Cooke County for taking such loving care of June during her last weeks on this earth.
Survivors
Survivors include: son, Keith Weaver and wife Debbie of Gainesville; daughter, Pam Evans of Gainesville; brother, Fred Coy of Louisiana; sister Wanda Hunt and husband Randy of Austin; grandson, Eric Weaver and wife Marcia of Gainesville; granddaughter, Rachel Domnitz and husband Jon of Anna; granddaughter, Jennifer Weaver of Gainesville; granddaughter, Nikki King and husband Grice of Gainesville; great-grandchildren CJ Weaver, Joshua Salas, Dane, Paytyn, Cole, Adelie and Keeley King, and Aislinn and AJ Weaver; as well as several nieces and nephews.
June was proceeded in death by: her parents; her husband, Jimmy Weaver; grandson Chris Weaver; brothers Floyd and Vernon Coy; and sisters Clessie Butler and Mae Jones.
