Karen Kim Aycox, 58, of Valley View, Texas passed away on February 13, 2019 at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton. Karen was born in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma to Alfred and Martha Lou Morrow, being the middle child of the family. She was raised in Tulsa and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. On March 3rd 1979 she married Otto Wagner Aycox. They were married a total of 40 years. They had 6 daughters and one son together.
Karen was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She loved God, He was her life, and she loved calling on His name. She loved others unconditionally and often sacrificed herself and wants for the benefit and well-being of others. Her educational accomplishments include EMT- vocational training. Her hobbies include gardening and cooking/canning. She enjoyed watching Star Trek and old westerns.
Karen was a very special lady, one of a kind, and our hearts will always deeply miss her.
Karen is lovingly remembered and survived by her spouse of 40 years, Otto Aycox; son Richard Aycox of Wolfe City, TX; daughter Jessica Bussell of Valley View, TX; Sarah Aycox of Lexington, Oklahoma; Martha Aycox of Norman Oklahoma, Karen Ann of Valley View, TX; Rachael Aycox of Bethany, Oklahoma; and siblings- Melvin Morrow, Andy Morrow, Joy Arnold, Beatrice Morrow, and Chris Culp. She also has 14 loving grandchildren.
Karen is preceded in death by her daughter Rebecca Naomi Aycox, 2 sisters, Fara Lou Morrow and Regina Morrow; and her parents Alfred and Martha Lou Morrow.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 2
