Kevin David Brewer

October 8, 1943 — January 30, 2022

Kevin David Brewer, 78, of Gainesville, Texas, went to be with his Lord and savior while surrounded by his family on January 30, 2022. Born October 8, 1943, in Olton, Texas, he was the son of the late Floyd David Brewer and Claudia Nell (Pearson) Brewer of Gainesville.

Kevin graduated from Callisburg High School in 1962. In 1963 he married Juanell (Conaway) Branyan of Dexter where they lived for 18 years and had 5 wonderful children, then later divorced in 1982. He then found another love in Louise (Wells) Brewer and her beautiful children. Kevin and Louise were married in 1983 and after 38 years, with his wife by his side, he went to be with his lord and savior. Kevin worked at National Supply Company for 20 years where he was a shift foreman until they closed in 1986. He then took a lead machinist role at Circuit Breaker Sales Co., where he retired after 30 years of service having a celebration with his family and friends. Kevin was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish, especially with his kids and grandkids. He was a member of the Texoma Bass Club in the 1970’s where he made his own fishing worms. He also enjoyed hunting arrowheads in local peanut fields, polishing rocks, cooking, and listening to the Rangers on summer nights. Kevin had a creative mind and was a true inventor at heart. Not only did he provide for his family over his lifetime with his inventiveness, but he was also a craftsman in his own personal workshop. He also loved the time he spent traveling with his wife and riding his motorcycle with the Cooke County Motorcycle Club. He was an accomplished rider and rode the perimeter of Texas twice. Kevin was a spiritual man and served as a Deacon of Hibbit Baptist Church of Dexter as well as a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Gainesville. He touched several lives over his 78 years and loved his family and friends along with his dogs.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Louise (Wells) Brewer of Gainesville; children, Juanette Lobaugh and husband Jeff of Whitesboro; Charlotte Williams and husband Brad of Callisburg; Justin Brewer and wife Janice of Gainesville; Tim Brewer and wife Michelle of Lindsay; Dusty Brewer and wife Ashley of Georgetown, TX; stepchildren, Archie Woodard and wife Mary of Desoto, TX; Alicia Blevins and husband David of Blue Ridge, TX; grandchildren, Shelby, Emily and Justin Lobaugh; Zachary Williams; Eric Williams and his wife, Kristin; Ethan and Kyle Williams, Shelby Brewer, Kayla Bauwin and her husband Gunnar; Preston and Addison Brewer; Hudson, Ellie and Finley Brewer; Heather and Ashley Blevins; great grandchildren, Steeli and Ty Williams, Palmer Bauwin, Jimmy Hoskins III.
