Kevin Arthur Paynter

Services for Kevin Arthur Paynter, 62, of Callisburg, are scheduled for Tuesday, February 23, 2021.  A Rosary service will begin at 6:00 P.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Gainesville with visitation to follow until 8:00 P.M.

Mr. Paynter passed away February 20, 2021 in Callisburg.

Kevin was born September 6, 1958 in Fort Worth.  He graduated from Mesquite High School, where he excelled in football.  Kevin married Nancy Fleitman on March 3, 1989 in Muenster.  He was blessed with three children: Maurine (December 14, 1982), Kevin (March 24, 1991), and Shawn (July 11, 1994).  Mr. Paynter was a carpenter with Legendary Woodworks and Countertops.  He enjoyed camping, fishing, restoration of family heirloom furniture, cooking on his smoker, and most importantly, spending time with his family, especially his grandson, Odis.

Survivors include: wife, Nancy Paynter; daughter, Maurine Paynter and wife, Lexi; son, Kevin Paynter and wife, Aimee; son, Shawn Paynter and wife, CeCe; grandson, Odis Paynter; sister, Karen Smith and husband, Robert; brother, Clifford Allen and wife, Carol; brother, Larry Don Allen and wife Renee; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mr. Paynter was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Louise and Wayne Moncrief.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choosing.
