Lanette Margaret Trammell

Lanette Bayer Trammell, 82, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018, in Gainesville, Texas.  Graveside Service celebrating Mrs. Trammel will be at 10:00 AM Friday, August 31, 2018 at the Fairview Cemetery.  A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Geo J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mrs. Trammell was born on November 15, 1935 in Myra, TX to Aloys “Al” Joseph and Marie Cecilia (Loerwald) Bayer. She married Jim “Buck” Trammell on January 2, 1958 in Wichita Falls, TX.  Mrs. Trammell was a loving wife, mother, sister and auntie to many.  She attended many activities with her nieces and nephews (and great ones too).  She loved her “Mavs” and always knew their schedule better than they did.  She was the queen of Jalapeno Cornbread, bling bling and red hair.  But, mostly she loved her family who knew her as Aunt Nettie.

She was survived by brother, Joe Bayer and wife Linda Bayer of South Lake, TX; 9 nieces and nephews and a host of great and great great nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Trammell was preceded in death by her husband, Jim “Buck” Trammell; her son, Gene Willis Trammell, her sister, Loretta Bayer Davis; and her sister, LaVonta Bayer Ward.
