Lester Allen Dickinson

Lester Allen Dickinson went to be with Jesus on May 16, 2022, in Plano, TX.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, May 31, at 4:00 PM at Crossroads Baptist Church in Gainesville where Lester was a faithful member.  Lester was born December 19, 1953 in Hale Center, TX to Lee Allen and Hazel Laydene Dickinson.  He was employed at MFG in Gainesville for 20 years and is a US Army veteran.

Lester was preceded in death by his parents, sister Janet Phillips, grandparents JF and Ruth Dickinson and Lloyd and Gladys Hall.

Mr. Dickinson is survived by the love of his life and wife of 20 years, Charlotte Dickinson of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law Tami and Tony Glyder of Andrews, TX; sister Kaylene Dickinson; sister and brother-in-law Tanya and Denny Wallace of Gainesville; brother-in-law and long-time friend John Phillips; granddaughter Taylor McColum and husband Christopher of Andrews; grandsons Michael, Darren, and Lucus Glyder; great-grandson Jackson Wayne McColum; nephews Bailey Wallace, Roy Phillips, and Chris Phillips.
