“Dad has finished his race, a goal of Heaven in mind. His hope in Christ Jesus, not one loved one left behind, but meet him on the other side. He was a man who proudly served his country during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He esteemed no man higher than the other in all walks of his life.”
“He was a man who developed a relationship with his God while on a hunting trip in November of 1963. He loved to witness to others of the Mercy and Grace of God bestowed upon him throughout his life. His desire was for others to know Jesus.”
“Dad established King’s Garage on January 2, 1960. His brother Marshal (Bud) later became partners with dad until 1985. Later his son’s Ricky and Mark would work along side him. Today his dream continues to flourish through the work of his grandsons Jordan and Chris.”
“He was a man, through the love and support of a woman whose prayers helped him to become the man he was, the day he took his final breath.”
“As a younger man, Dad enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as a good Western, and a Dallas Cowboys football game.”
“He was a man of few words, but when he spoke, you listened.”
“He was a man of compassion for his fellow human beings. He was a business man, husband, brother, father, grandfather, and friend to those he met along the way.”
“He was a man whose legacy, by the Grace of God will be carried on through his loved ones; not wealth here on Earth, but through eternal life in Christ Jesus.”
“Dad, your family thanks you for your service.”
