Louise Brewer, 80, of Gainesville, passed away May 27, 2023 in Gainesville.
Louise was born June 19, 1942 in Magazine, Arkansas. She was a 45-year resident of Gainesville and longtime educator, retiring from Gainesville High School. She was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church of Gainesville, a volunteer at Friends of the Family and Noah’s Ark Animal Shelter, and loved the many fur babies she had over the years.
Survivors include: son Archie Woodard and wife Mary of Desoto; daughter Alicia Blevins and husband David of Blue Ridge; daughter Juanette Lobaugh and husband Jeff of Whitesboro; daughter Charlotte Williams and husband Brad of Callisburg; son Justin Brewer and wife Janice of Gainesville; son Tim Brewer and wife Michelle of Lindsay; son Dusty Brewer and wife Ashley of Georgetown; grandchildren Ashley and Heather Blevins, Shelby Cobb, Emily, and Justin Lobaugh, Zachary, Eric, Ethan, and Kyle Williams, Shelby Brewer, Kayla Bauwin, Preston and Addison Brewer, and Hudson, Ellie, and Finley Brewer; and great-grandchildren Steeli and Ty Williams, Palmer Bauwin, Jimmy Hoskins III, Ava Cobb, Ember Parrish, Scott Edwards, and Lyla Williams.
Mrs. Brewer was preceded in death by: parents Bill and Jeri (Vinzant) Wells; husband Kevin Brewer; brother Bill Wells Jr.; and granddaughter Krista Brewer.
Mrs. Brewer’s grandsons will be serving as pallbearers.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 2, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Gainesville with Dr. Jeff Langley officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
