Margaret Louise Williams

Margaret Williams, 78, of Valley View, TX, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022 in Denton, TX.  Margaret was born February 23, 1943 in Gainesville, TX to Raymond Garner and Willie Lorena (Estes) Garner.

Margaret married Lynn Dale (Buzzy) Miller on July 25, 1959 in Gainesville, TX and resided in Valley View where they raised two beautiful daughters, Janet Lynn and Lorri Ann Miller.  After the death of Lynn Dale in 1980, she married Billy Herman Williams in October of 1984.  Margaret loved helping others in her community.  Her most rewarding passion in life was spending time with her grandchildren.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Lorena; stepmother, Thelma Garner; first husband, Lynn Dale Miller; brother, James Ray Garner; and nephew, Rod Southard.

Survivors include:  husband, Billy Williams; daughter, Janet Freire and husband, Robert of Pilot Point; daughter, Lorri Lemons of Valley View; and stepchildren: Sharon and Shane Lewis of Callisburg, Karen and Mike Vitale of Fort Worth, and Scott and Tina Williams of Krum.  Survivors also include:  two sisters Janis McWilliams of Borger and Betty Southard of Aubrey; nine grandchildren:  Emily Lemons, Cooper Johnson, Josh Freire, Justin and Jarred Williams, Robin Edwards, Cale and Ryan Harbin, and Stacey Hatch; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 P.M., Sunday, January 23, at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home in Gainesville, TX.  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, January 24, at the funeral home with Bro. Danny Shaver officiating.
