Funeral Mass for Maria Del Refugio Garcia Puente, 28, of Gainesville, is set for 10:00 AM Friday, March 1, 2018 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Fr. John Pacheco officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A rosary will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 5:30 PM with visitation to follow at the funeral home.
Maria was born on June 27, 1990 in Tamaulipas, Mexico to Jose Refugio Puente and Leonor Garcia Puente. She passed away on February 26, 2019 in Denton.
Maria is survived by her son Giovanni Coronado; son Adrian Coronado; father J. Refugio Puente; mother Leonor Puente; brother Mauricio Puente and his wife Patricia; brother Hermilo Puente and his wife Daisy; brother Hector Puente and his wife Korina; brother Misael Puente; and sister Guadalupe Puente all of Gainesville. She is also survived by five nephews, and three nieces.
She was preceded in death by her brother Artemio Puente.
