Mark Anthony Perry, 60, of Gainesville, passed away March 29, 2022 in Denton.
Mark was born November 29, 1961 in McKinney. He attended schools in McKinney and Gainesville, graduating in Gainesville. Mr. Perry spent many years at Peterbuilt, but most recently was a self-employed painting contractor. He was an avid sportsman that treasured his time in nature, especially with his sons and nephew, Dylan Perry. Mr. Perry enjoyed traveling and even lived for a brief period in Colorado. Wherever he resided, he loved being outdoors, fishing, and hunting. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ.
Mr. Perry was preceded in death by: maternal grandparents, Mary Lee and Winfred Mitchell; and paternal grandparents, Reba Faye and Ben Perry.
Survivors include: daughter, Haylee Perry of Arlington; son, Carson Perry of Yukon, OK; son, Evan Perry of Yukon, OK; parents, Bobby and Wanda Perry of Gainesville; sister, Gayla Blakely of Gainesville; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby Lee and Kathlyn Perry of Gainesville; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on Friday, April 1, 2022 with Bro. Marlin Harp and Bro. David Mark King officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30 P.M. prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Nelson Grove Cemetery.
