Martha Ellen Walsh

Martha Ellen Walsh, 72, of Lake Kiowa, passed away peacefully in her home on June 1, 2024.

Mrs. Walsh was born on February 2, 1952 in Joliet, IL to Joseph Lawrence and Virginia Moore (Gee) Mikan.

Martha graduated from Southern Methodist University where she was a member of the Volleyball Team and Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.  Martha and her husband David Walsh, owned and operated WALCO Tool & Engineering in Will County, IL.  She continued to be the CEO of the business after her husband's death in 2018.  Martha enjoyed golfing, painting and everything holiday.

Mrs. Walsh is survived by brother and sister-in-law Joseph and Lynn Mikan of Ft. Meyers, FL; brother and sister-in-law James and Karen Mikan of Homer Glen, IL; sister and brother-in-law Janet and Erich Kuchar of Camarillo, CA, Carol Rhoades of Lake Kiowa and loving nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date in Lemont, IL and Lake Kiowa, TX.
